Challenge
(01)
Making a recruitment platform feel like it belongs in the nonprofit world.
LinkedIn wanted to show nonprofits how the platform helps them find talent and volunteers. The starting point was LinkedIn's existing brand illustrations and characters, which are static, so the job was to give them movement and turn a set of features into something that follows as a story. The tone had to shift too, since the audience is mission-led rather than corporate. On top of that the campaign ran across regions and placements, so nothing could be built as a one-off.

Solution
(02)
Animating LinkedIn's brand characters, then building out the versions.
Working with Brands2Life, I led the animation, taking LinkedIn's static characters and setting them in motion in Illustrator and After Effects. Typography, graphics and small motion cues point to the specific platform features as each one comes up, so the film explains as it goes. The bigger part of the work was the adaptations: alternate character versions for different regions and a full set of aspect ratios, all built so the campaign holds together wherever it runs.

Conclusion
(03)
A campaign built to run in a lot of places at once.
The result was a polished and highly informative explainer campaign that successfully bridged the gap between a corporate platform and the mission-driven world of nonprofits. By delivering a flexible ecosystem of animated assets rather than just a single video, I provided LinkedIn with everything they needed to launch a consistent, multi-channel social media campaign. This collaboration successfully elevated their service offering, presenting it as an essential and intuitive tool for positive social impact.
