Working from rough storyboards, I had a lot of freedom to develop characters and styles for the animation.

Based on similar watercolour styles used on static imagery for emails, I adapted the look and feel to work in an animated environment. The fast-moving textures and animated brush strokes made the whole animation feel like it was continually being painted as the story unfolded.
Once finalised, I then adapted to five different European versions with their own titles and voice-overs in their respective languages.
